Athletes weeping as coach passes away amid match
The manager only took charge of the football club just weeks ago
Players fell to the ground weeping as they were informed of their manager's death in the middle of a contest in the country's premier division
Head coach the former international fell suddenly and received treatment on the sidelines before being rushed to a healthcare center during his side's game at their opponents' ground on the start of the week
The Serbian SuperLiga match proceeded but was abandoned just prior to half-time when word of Zizovic's death got to the stadium
Video of the match showed athletes and staff from the competing clubs in grief at the news
The ex- Bosnian representative player, 44, was only appointed manager of his team on October 23rd
"Our club has lost not only a great professional but most importantly a good man, a friend, and a competitor who, with his knowledge, vitality and character has left a deep mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of meeting him"
The country's soccer authority said its "football community has lost an additional true football professional" with his demise
"In the course of his extensive athletic journey, Zizovic represented multiple teams in the top division of Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially HSK Zrinjski Mostar, Radnik Bijeljina and FK Borac Banja Luka, and he furthermore played in the uniform of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team"
"Upon completing his playing career, he committed his time to training, leading teams in Bosnia and Herzegovina and surrounding countries"
"The premature death signifies a great loss for Bosnian-Herzegovinian football"

Major organizations also paid tribute, including Red Star Belgrade, who passed on their "most sincere sympathies"
